Who manages progress?
PokéSurvivor runs from its official website inside the CatGunner window. The original game manages its own progress. CatGunner does not read, copy, import or back up that save. The bookmark control at the lower edge of the game window only adds a website favorite. A favorite does not preserve Pokémon, currency or upgrades.
The current game explicitly warns that guest progress is not saved. Do not rely on a guest session to retain progress after closing or reloading. According to the official site, registered accounts can save game data using its Firebase service. Those accounts are separate from CatGunner. Use the official website for sign-in and account help. Never send passwords or browser files to CatGunner support.
Embedded and standalone saves may differ
Browsers can partition third-party storage. The same game inside CatGunner and on pokesurvivor.com may therefore see different guest data or login sessions. Seeing a fresh game in one context does not prove your other save was erased.
Keep using the original address, browser and profile when checking progress. Do not play the same account in multiple windows while investigating. CatGunner does not merge guest saves, transfer data between contexts or guarantee embedded Google sign-in. If account access fails in the window, open the official site instead.
Before clearing data or changing devices
Preserve the original browser and profile until you can confirm the expected progress on the official site. Private windows and browser cleanup tools may remove local data. Do not assume website favorites or screenshots are a restorable backup.
Account recovery, deletion and cloud-save behavior follow the original game policies. Read the legal and privacy panel within the official game, and consult the creator repository for project information. CatGunner cannot recover third-party accounts or promise cross-device restoration.
