Privacy policy
This policy explains how CatGunner, operated by catgunner, handles website visits, local saves and contact emails. It applies to the current public game hub pages.
What to know first
- Game progress, favorites and theme preferences are mainly stored in your browser.
- The website uses Cloudflare for pages, asset delivery and runtime logs.

Data stored in your browser
You do not need a website account to play IdleCatGunner. Game progress and settings are stored locally in your current browser. Favorites, recently played records and theme preferences also stay on your device. There are no account-based cloud saves; favoriting a game does not back up coins, equipment or stages.

Requests & runtime logs
Network services process your IP address, requested URL, request time and browser request information to deliver pages and game assets, troubleshoot problems and keep the website secure. The website runs on Cloudflare Workers and R2, with Workers runtime logs enabled.
These access records are separate from game saves. The website does not currently upload coins, equipment or stage progress to an account, and the favorites feature does not read game saves.
Third-party services & advertising
Cloudflare processes access-related information when providing networking, caching and security services. Its infrastructure may operate in different countries or regions. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its information practices.
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits and website use. The Google tag may use cookies such as _ga to recognize visits and process page URLs, referrals, browser, device and interaction information. We do not set a website User-ID in GA or intentionally upload contact email addresses, coins, equipment or stage saves. Google Signals and ad personalization signals are disabled. See Google’s privacy information for its processing and retention practices.
AdSense and Adsterra advertising and website payment processing are not enabled. We will update this information when adding advertising, accounts or cloud saves. External websites follow their own privacy policies.
Information in contact emails
When you email contact@catgunner.games, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, troubleshoot issues, or handle privacy and content rights requests. Sender and recipient email services transmit and store the messages.
For loading issues, include the page URL, device and browser, time of the error and relevant screenshots. Do not send passwords, payment details or identity documents. Sending feedback does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Retention & data protection
Your device, browser settings and the game’s save behavior determine local data retention. Referral cookies expire after 30 days. Cloudflare’s current documentation states that Workers log retention depends on the plan, up to 7 days. Its own network and security data follows applicable Cloudflare policies.
Emails are used to handle requests. We delete messages no longer needed after handling the request, though records necessary for disputes, legal obligations or website security may be kept. You can request deletion by email. We use HTTPS and service access controls, but no network service or local storage can guarantee absolute security or permanent availability.
Your choices
You can limit analytics through your browser’s cookie and tracking-protection settings or Google’s official Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Analytics settings and local game saves are managed separately; stopping analytics does not automatically back up or delete game progress.
Remove favorites, change the theme, or use browser site-data and cookie settings to view, block or delete local records. Blocking local storage may prevent favorites or progress from lasting until your next visit. Clearing site data may also erase game saves; the website currently has no recovery feature.
Email contact@catgunner.games to ask about data handling or to request access, correction, deletion or other rights under applicable law. Include the relevant page, concern and a reply address. We handle requests according to their scope. You generally need to manage local saves in your own browser; an email request does not automatically erase data on your device.
Use by minors
Minors should choose content, play time and whether to send emails with a guardian’s guidance. Guest play does not currently ask for age or require a child account. Guardians may email us if they believe contact messages contain a minor’s personal information that should not be retained.
Updates & contact
The operator is catgunner; our contact email is contact@catgunner.games. When services or data practices change, we update this page and its date. We will show a notice at the relevant entry point for significant data-handling changes.
